Two things on this table catch people out. The UForce 600 has published fitment from Camso only — neither Kimpex system lists it. And the Camso UTV ENDUR reaches the UForce line at exactly one point, the U10 PRO; on a UForce 1000 EPS LX it is not an option.

  • Camso 4S1: The 40 km/h figure is real speed; the manual notes it reads about 70 km/h on the vehicle speedometer.
  • Kimpex HD4: Kimpex qualifies the load capacity itself: "Some exceptions apply. Please, check if your track set is compatible with the weight of your vehicle."
  • Camso X4S: Camso rates the X4S to 700cc on a side-by-side. On a larger machine the 4S1 is the system Camso publishes, not the X4S.

What actually differs

What changes between one UForce kit and the next

The track units are the same product on every machine they fit. What is specific to yours is the hardware that attaches them and the gearing that drives them — which is why fitment is published per trim and per year rather than per engine size.

The units are the same on every machine. The mount kit is not.

A Camso kit is four track systems — two front, two rear — plus the mount kit adapted to your vehicle. Those four units are the same product whether they end up under a UForce or a Ranger; the mount kit and the sprocket tooth count are what make a kit specific to your machine. That is why fitment is published per trim and per model year: Camso lists 16-tooth sprockets for the UForce 500, 17 for the 600 and 800, and 18 for the 1000 and U10 PRO. Kimpex works the same way but sells the pieces separately — the Commander track kit, then the track adapter for your machine, then front and rear anti-rotation kits.

Camso flags conditions per application, and the UForce has several

Camso’s application guide carries a remark column, and on the UForce it is not empty. The 500, the 550, the 800 in its 57-inch LX form and the 1000 all carry remark G — “permanent interference” — in the August 2026 revision. The 600 and the U10 PRO carry no remark. Camso does not say in the guide what interferes or how much, and we are not going to guess: what it means in practice is that fitting tracks to those UForce models involves a permanent change to something on the machine, and it is worth a phone call before you order rather than after.

What tracks add to the machine’s footprint

A 4S1 kit puts roughly 2,520 square inches of rubber on the ground, against four tyre contact patches. Camso publishes the geometry it adds too: about 42.5 inches of system length at the front and 52 at the rear, and 16⅜ to 16½ inches of ground clearance under the units themselves. That extra length and width is the reason a track kit changes how the machine turns and how wide a trail it needs, and it is the same on every UForce the 4S1 fits.

What CFMOTO UForce owners run tracks for

Winter access on a working property

The most common reason a UForce ends up on tracks: a machine bought to do jobs, kept working after the snow arrives. The 4S1 is rated by Camso for side-by-sides from 400 to 1000cc, which covers the whole UForce line.

Soft and broken ground outside winter

Both manufacturers sell these as four-season systems rather than snow kits — Kimpex lists marshland, mud, sand, dirt road and gravel for the WSS4 alongside its snow ratings. The trade is speed, not season.

A first track purchase

The UForce line sits below the machines these systems are usually fitted to, and the kit is often a large fraction of what the vehicle cost. Reading the remark column before ordering matters more here than on a machine with no conditions attached.

Before you order, and after it arrives

What ships, what the install involves, and what you will be buying again in a few seasons.

What arrives, and what else you need

Camso ships four units plus the vehicle-adapted mount kit as one kit. Kimpex ships the Commander track kit, the track adapter for your machine, and front and rear anti-rotation kits as separate line items — ordering the track kit on its own will not put tracks on the vehicle. Whichever route you take, tell us the model year and trim first.

Installation

Kimpex publishes 1.5 hours for a first WSS4 installation and 30 minutes for each subsequent swap once the vehicle-side hardware is on. Camso’s two-year limited warranty is stated as valid when the system is installed by an authorized dealer, which is what we are.

What you give up

Camso publishes an average speed loss of about 30% across its systems and up to 50% on some vehicles, and the 4S1 manual sets a maximum of 40 km/h real speed — roughly 25 mph, which the manual notes reads nearer 70 km/h on the vehicle’s own speedometer. Kimpex publishes 30% for the HD4 and 35% for the WSS4. Plan the machine’s job around those numbers, not around its speedometer.

Wear parts and moving the set on

Idler wheels, mid-rollers, bearings, seals and tread are all serviceable and all stocked. If you change machines, a transfer kit adapts a set you already own rather than replacing it — but what it takes depends on both machines, so check the pairing before the old one is sold.

CFMOTO UForce track questions we get asked

Camso only. Our catalog publishes the Camso 4S1 and the Camso X4S for the UForce 600 (2021–2025), and Camso’s own August 2026 application guide agrees — 17-tooth front and rear sprockets, and no remark against the row. Neither Kimpex system lists a UForce 600 application. That is not a statement that a Kimpex kit cannot be made to fit; it is that nobody publishes a mounting kit for it, so we will not sell you one for that machine.

Substantially. The Camso UTV ENDUR publishes fitment for the U10 PRO and not for the UForce 1000 EPS LX. Across the entire catalog the ENDUR has four applications and the U10 PRO is the only CFMOTO among them. On a UForce 1000 EPS LX your published options are the Camso 4S1, the Kimpex HD4 and the Kimpex WSS4. CFMOTO renamed its whole 998cc line from “1000” to “U10” for the 2027 model year, so a machine badged 1000 and a machine badged U10 can be close in age and still take different kits — check the year, not the badge.

It is remark G in Camso’s application guide, and Camso defines it in the guide’s own legend as “permanent interference”. In the August 2026 revision it is set against the UForce 500, the 550, the 800 in 57-inch LX form and the 1000. The 600 and the U10 PRO carry no remark. Camso does not publish what interferes or how much, so we will not describe it for you — call us with your exact model and year before ordering one of the flagged applications.

It depends on the brand. Camso includes the vehicle-adapted mount kit with the four track units as one kit. Kimpex sells the Commander install as separate line items — track kit, then the track adapter for your machine, then front and rear anti-rotation kits. Both approaches end up vehicle-specific; only one of them is a single line on the order.

Kimpex publishes 30% for the HD4 and 35% for the WSS4. Those are the manufacturers’ own figures for the systems, not measurements we have taken on a UForce.

Call us with the model year, the trim as it appears on the machine, and the VIN. A trim missing from the table usually means no published application exists for it yet rather than that tracks are impossible — Camso and Kimpex both add applications between guide revisions, and Camso’s current guide already lists CFMOTO rows our catalog has not caught up with.
