How Yamaha Grizzly Owners Use Tracks
Hunting in Any Season
Access remote hunting areas regardless of conditions. Tracks handle deep snow, swamp edges, and logging roads that wash out every spring.
Snow Trail Riding
Push through forest trails and mountain terrain after heavy snowfall. The Grizzly's torque and tracks make a potent combination.
Property Management
Manage your land on soft or wet ground without tearing it up. Tracks spread the weight and leave less damage than tires.
Running Tracks in Snow
Give your Grizzly real winter capability with track systems.

Yamaha Grizzly Track FAQs
It's one of the best CVTs for track use. The Ultramatic is engine-braking capable and handles sustained loads without overheating. Yamaha designed it for heavy work, and tracks are right in its wheelhouse.
The only difference is electric power steering on the EPS model. Both use the same drivetrain and suspension, so tracks fit and perform identically. That said, EPS makes steering on tracks noticeably easier, especially at low speeds.
Expect roughly 20-30% more fuel consumption on tracks versus tires. The extra rolling resistance and weight mean the engine works harder. Most Grizzly owners keep a spare fuel can on the racks for longer rides.

Maintenance Tip
Grizzly's sealed bearings last longer than most — but still inspect them every 75 hours when running tracks in abrasive conditions.
