How Polaris Sportsman Owners Use Tracks
Property Work & Maintenance
Keep your property accessible year-round. Tracks let your Sportsman handle snow, mud, and soft ground that would stop tires cold.
Winter Trail Riding
Hit the trails after a heavy snowfall. Tracks float on top of deep snow where tires just dig in and spin.
Hunting Access
Get to remote hunting spots that are otherwise snowbound or swamped out. Tracks take you where truck trails end.
Running Tracks in Snow
Tracks give your Sportsman traction in snow that tires can't match.

Polaris Sportsman Track FAQs
The Sportsman 450, 570, 850, and XP 1000 all have track system options from Camso and Kimpex. The exact kit depends on your model year and whether you have independent rear suspension (IRS). Call us if you're not sure which setup fits your specific machine.
Yes, and it actually works better than tires in many cases. Tracks give you more traction pushing heavy snow, and you won't dig ruts in your driveway. Just make sure your plow setup doesn't interfere with the front track frames.
No permanent modifications are needed. Track systems bolt on using your existing suspension mounting points. You will need to remove your wheels, but the process is fully reversible if you ever want to go back to tires.

Maintenance Tip
Check your Sportsman's a-arm bolts after the first 2 hours of riding on new tracks — they can loosen during break-in.
